IT and Technical Requirements
The Vision Teach-Pad is a hardware accessory that plugs into the USB port on the teacher’s computer and performs the basic functions of classroom management in any classroom where Vision6 version 6.1.3 or higher is installed. The instructor’s computer must be running Windows XP or Vista, otherwise all standard Vision system requirements are the same. To use the Surf-Lock feature of the Teach-Pad, Surf-Lock version 2.0.1 or higher must be installed.

Vision Teach-Pad Technical and System Requirements

  • Vision6 version 6.1.3 or higher
  • Surf-Lock version 2.0.1 or higher (to use Surf-Lock feature)
  • Teacher’s Computer runs Windows XP or Vista
  • Teacher’s Computer has a USB port
  • Classroom meets standard Vision requirements

Installation
First install Vision6, Surf-Lock and any other plug-ins in your classroom. If you already have Vision6 working in your classroom, check that you have version 6.1.3 or higher installed. If you have Surf-Lock installed, make sure that you have version 2.0.1 or higher. If you have an older version of either product, check the chart below for compatibility and upgrade requirements.
